The Marketing and E-Communications Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific product marketing and on-line marketing initiatives, ensuring consistency with company strategy, communications and goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the marketing team in the layout, creation and design of various marketing materials including brochures, sell sheets and packaging using Creative Suites Programs
- Implementation and maintenance of corporate website including page content, copy changes, document management and product information
- Recommend, write and facilitate social media campaigns and communication
- Recommend, write and facilitate blog content & strategies
- In conjunction with product teams, monitor, track and respond to corporate on-line posts/chatter
- Keep up to date on competitors on-line presence and communicate findings with product teams
- Write, create, distribute and monitor e-communications as requested through product teams
- Research various new tools to optimize social media and other on-line communication
- Assist in research projects for new and existing product lines as required
- Additional administrative duties as required
Qualifications Required
- University/College diploma, or equivalent in marketing or a related field
- Two (2) or more years’ experience in all aspects of marketing and on-line communication principles
- Two (2) or more years’ experience in all aspects of website creation and social media networks
- Sound working knowledge of Creative Suites Programs (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator)
- Strong copywriting skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance competing demands and meet deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient with MSOffice (Word (level 3), Excel (level 3), PowerPoint (level 2)), Outlook (e-mail, calendar, tasks)
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization
